We fuss over it; if its not just right or one hair is out of place we have to fix it. That’s right I’m talking about your hair. Hair is so important to people because it completes the look plus it is one accessory that you can’t get rid of. Additionally, if your hair looks bad, or dry or frizzy you can’t hide it. People see your hair no matter what you do to it and if you try to hide it with a hat or a bag (just kidding) people wonder why. Even though the majority of people who fuss over their hair are females, don’t let the men fool you, they fuss over their hair just as much, that is if they have hair. And if they don’t have hair or its falling out then that’s a whole other story. But anyways, we spend thousands of dollars a year on our hair, to make it look shiny, smooth, silky and perfect. However, what if I told you that you could get perfect hair right at home without having to spend money on all of those expensive hair cuts, highlights, perms, etc. Here are five do it yourself tips to get you the perfect hair in no time. 1. Hair along with skin and nails are part of the body’s Integumentary system. This system protects the body from damage. So it is important to keep all components of this system healthy and working properly. To do this it is important to eat a good balanced diet. Nutrition along with the proper intake of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants especially Vitamin E will keep hair looking shiny and smooth. Additionally hair is made up of 25% water, therefore to keep our hair hydrated it is important to drink at least 8-10 glasses a day. 2. Hair loss is a very stressful topic for both men and women. However, there are ways to slow down hair loss or even reverse the affects of hair loss. Biotin is a water soluble B-complex vitamin that can help regenerate hair follicles. The best way to get Biotin is through the food products that contain it. Mix bananas with honey, yogurt and low-fat milk into a smoothie and drink daily. Otherwise taking vitamin supplements such as Vitamin B6, B-complex, zinc and saw palmetto will help as well. Remember don’t stress about hair loss. Stress can actually speed up hair loss, so stop stressing and let your body regenerate your hair. Also remember that getting plenty of sleep allows the body to rest for new growth. 3. Avoid blow drying, flat irons, curling irons and hot rollers at all cost. I know these items help get your hair into the perfect hairstyle but they could be doing more damage to your hair than you know. Artificial heating will leave hair dry, brittle and damaged over time. The best things to do after get out of a shower is to use a towel to absorb excess water, pat don’t rub hair dry. Then allow you hair to dry naturally. 4. Use the correct hairbrush. The hairbrush you use to comb your hair is just as important to the health of your hair as anything else. Using a hard steel brush can damage hair strands. Its important to use a wide tooth comb to detangle hair. Brush from root to tip but avoid touching the root. 5. Remove split ends. Split ends are unsightly and unhealthy. Remove split ends by taking sections of hair and twisting them carefully in a downward motion. You will see the strands that have split ends. With a sharp scissors cut into the twist section to remove the damaged cuticles. Never remove more hair than you need to and cut the same amount of hair from each section. Follow these steps and you will see the naturally healthy hair that you always wanted. Take care of your hair and it will reflect the shiny, smooth, and silky hair that other people pay so much money to achieve. http://www.universalhealthinfo.com/Perfect_Hair.html
