Natural Cures for Hair Loss

Natural Cures for Hair Loss

Anyone who has deal with the unpleasant side effects of hair loss drugs has likely wondered about more natural treatment options. While hair loss drugs may bring about effective results, many men and women can’t cope with the side effects they may bring such as headaches and facial swelling. Thanks to new developments in the hair loss field, you now have options.

The average person sheds somewhere approximately 50 to 100 hairs from their head daily. This level of shedding is completely normal and each hair that is expelled is shortly replaced by a new hair. Those that experience thinning hair aren’t getting the new hair replacements after old hair is shed. With no replacement hair, the cycle is thwarted and balding begins to occur.

In order to stop future hair loss and get your hair growth cycle back to its regular pattern, you can use products for hair loss. It’s important to assess the cause of your hair loss. If it’s due to a temporary issue such as illness or medication allergies, you should certainly correct the root problem first. You can then use products for hair loss to help stimulate new hair growth.

Herbal Remedy for Hair Loss

The human hair follicle requires a delicate balance of nutrients, cleanliness and molecular activity in order to successfully produce hair. Any number of external factors can affect this balance and result in temporary or permanent hair loss. Rather than turn to prescription drugs as a solution, many people prefer to try an herbal remedy for hair loss.

Vitamins for Hair Loss

Vitamins for hair loss has gained more popularity in recent years as a natural means to combat hair loss. While not the most common cause of hair loss, poor nutrition can cause thinning hair, bald spots or overall hair loss. If your particular case of thinning hair is due to poor nutrition, you should quickly correct that, aiming to consume a well-balanced and nourishing diet. This is incredibly important, not just as a solution to your hair loss, but also for your entire body’s health.

While most physicians recommend that everyone take a daily multi-vitamin if they suspect they aren’t eating a completely balanced diet, vitamins for hair loss can be trickier territory. Certain vitamins have been shown to help hair grow; however, too many vitamins can also cause hair loss. If you are considering vitamins for hair loss, it’s prudent to consult your physician to ensure you aren’t actually contributing to your hair loss problem.

All Natural Hair Loss Treatment for Women

Although often thought of as solely a men’s issue, thinning hair is also an important concern for a significant number of women in the United States and, indeed, throughout the world. Due to the great interest in preventing and rejuvenating thinning hair, the medical and cosmetic markets have been flooded with both prescription and over-the-counter products designed to fight the effects of hair loss.

Some of these products work to fight hair loss at the roots by infusing the hair follicles with chemicals. Others simply attempt to clean the scalp to promote hair rejuvenation. The proof of true effectiveness is debatable among various products, however, which leads many to seek an all natural hair loss treatment for women instead.

When you use natural cures for hair loss rather than hair loss drugs, you don’t have to experience any side effects. All our Kevis products are altogether drug-free and they are gentle enough for use on sensitive hair. Even pregnant and nursing moms can use our natural hair loss treatment options without any issues.

Hair guru Brian Bennett, also known by his patients as “The Hair Doctor,” started in the beauty and hair care field over thirty years ago as a licensed Cosmetologist and Aesthetician, and is now a board certified Trichologist. Female Hair Loss Products/treatments

Female Hair Loss Products/treatments

In today’s increasingly stressful world, the number of women suffering from hair loss is increasing. We all want to look our best and damage to a woman’s ‘crowning glory’ can be a uniquely upsetting affliction.

Hair loss in woman can generally be seen evenly across the scalp, without definite bald patches. If this is happening to you, the following conditions may be affecting you:

Diffuse hair loss is a gradual thinning of the hair as opposed to a straightforward bald patch and is the most common type of hair loss in women. The replacement of old hairs by new hairs is slowed down so that the hair becomes sparse and the scalp can be seen clearly through the hair. The causes can be numerous and include stress, restriction of the blood supply, a poor nervous system and hormonal influences.

Androgenetic alopecia (female pattern baldness) in women is often linked to hormonal changes with the hair loss following events such as the menopause, childbirth or as a result of stopping or starting oral contraceptive pills. The hair loss is generally more uniform over the scalp than in the male counterpart, but also results from a complex chemical reaction when the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase converts the testosterone in the system into DHT or dihydrotestosterone. The hair follicles are genetically predisposed to be over sensitive to the DHT and become smaller and smaller with time, leading to the eventual hair loss.

Telogen Effluvium occurs when the growing phase of the hair is interrupted prematurely causing the hair follicles to enter the telogen (resting) phase of the hair cycle earlier than normal. Two to four months later, following the normal cyclic pattern, diffuse shedding of the hair begins. When this happens there are not enough hairs left in the anagen phase, or growing phase, and the result is diffuse thinning of the hair.

Pregnancy will also affect hair production. Hormone levels increase as the pregnancy begins and slow down the hair growth cycle. Hairs that should stop growing continue to grow beyond their usual life cycle. Often this means that the hair appears to grow thicker as more hairs are present than normal. Following the birth, hormone levels change very quickly and hairs that were growing beyond their normal lifespan enter the telogen phase at this time and begin to fall out. This can sometimes appear to happen all at once and can be very worrying to the new mother.

Late onset thinning can be seen in diffuse hair loss across the scalp as density is reduced gradually. This is due to age-related hormonal changes as the natural reduction of oestrogen/progesterone production results in the hair follicles becoming smaller and smaller. These produce finer and finer hair until there is a general reduction in overall density.

If your hair loss is patchy you may be suffering from a form of alopecia:

Alopecia Areata is an extremely common condition and will affect 1% to 2% of the population at some point in their lives. Most sufferers are children and young adults (below 40 years old), though it can affect people of all ages. The hair loss is sudden and manifests itself in small, smooth-skinned patches that are likely to gradually widen with time. It can also affect the sufferer’s nails, giving them a pitted, ridged or brittle appearance. The exact cause is still unknown, although current theories include an auto-immune disease, stress or suggest a genetic basis. If the hair loss progresses until all the scalp hair is lost this is known as alopecia totalis or as alopecia universalis if all the body hair is lost as well.

Pseudopelade is characterised by the development of small, smooth patches without any clinical changes other than transient erythema (redness). The initial patch is usually on the crown of the head, but can occur anywhere on the scalp. It is generally regarded as a clinical syndrome, which may be the end result of any one of a number of different pathological processes due to a weakened immune system.

Hair loss can also have traumatic origins:

Chemical trauma can be caused to the hair by bleaching, relaxing, perming or even dying the hair. The chemicals involved in these processes can damage the hair’s protein structure, making the hair dehydrated and brittle and often causing hair loss. As well as damaging the hair’s protein structure, these chemicals are also not good for the scalp and can irritate it.

Traction alopecia is hair loss caused by constant tension on the hair, such as that created by an over-tight ponytail, plaiting or through using too tight rollers to style the hair. The action of pulling on the hair over a long period of time results in the gradual shrinking of the hair follicle and so the hairs produced become finer and finer.

Injury to the body or surgery and its associated anaesthetics and medications can also cause an interruption of the normal growth cycle. A relatively minor injury can result in disproportionably severe hair loss.

These are just a few of the reasons for hair loss. It order to treat hair loss effectively we would recommend that you have a diagnosis made as soon as possible by one of our experienced trichologists. Stress can be an aggravator in almost all cases of hair loss and an accurate diagnosis will always, at the very least, take some of the stress away from you.

You’ll not be Able to Stop Hair Loss if you Don’t Know 10 Reasons Why

Today almost everybody complains from hair loss. Maybe so do you. But does everyone know all the reasons of women hair loss? In order to be sure and to stop hair loss you should read all the list of main reasons:

1. You donâ??t wash your hair as soon as it becomes muddy.

The muddy hair cannot breathe. Therefore sometimes hair loss begins.

2. You comb you hair while itâ??s wet yet.

If you noticed wet hair is hardly combed. And as a result of it its structure is damaged. You should comb your hair only when itâ??s quite damp.

3. You wash your hair too often, even when itâ??s not necessary.

As a result of washing too often, hair becomes dull and faded. Because it loses most of its nutrients while washing process. And it causes hair thinning and then hair loss.

4. You often use a drier.

Hair begins shedding, but also loses its health and natural shine. Finally, this case prevents hair growth and sometimes you cannot even stop hair loss.

5. You do not use the suitable shampoo or other hair care and hair loss treatment remedies for your hair.

Today itâ??s very difficult to choose the right shampoo among numerous popular brands of hair remedies. But the famous and expensive donâ??t always mean the best. Before buying any hair remedies I recommend you to visit http://hairbeautysecrets.blogspot.com/ for hair loss treatment. I hope youâ??ll find there how to stop hair loss if you look for natural hair loss treatment remedies.

6. You have been just operated or taken a lot of chemicals.

After both of these events itâ??s often impossible to stop hair loss as a result of chemical poisoning of the organism. In this period your ration must be very rich in vitamins (especially A, B, C, D, E), minerals, microelements. Youâ??d better drink fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices (especially apple, carrot, cucumber etc.) in order not only to prevent hair loss, baldness, but also to provide hair growth. You can drink them together in equal proportion. And of course, the second thing you should do is external nutrition of hair: natural hair loss treatment and using herbal remedies for balding prevention. Itâ??s recommended to wash hair with natural homemade hair remedies for a while (you can find the receipt in http://hairbeautysecrets.blogspot.com/).

7. You have anemia.

The lack of iron and vitamins also causes hair loss. In this case besides treatment with hair loss treatment remedies, you need also eat food rich in iron. I especially recommend you to drink fresh-squeezed apple juice and eat various salads, nuts, more fish, etc. Fish is very rich in vitamins A, E. Or you can consult with your doctor and take some multivitamin tablets. But I recommend you to choose the natural way. In this way youâ??ll be able not only to stop hair loss, but also strengthen hair.

8. You often dye or perm your hair.

Regular coloring or perm damage hair and it begins to fade, becomes thinner and dull. Therefore such hair usually doesnâ??t seem healthy. Such damaged hair needs special care most of all. You should make natural hair masks to nourish your hair. I recommend you to use natural homemade shampoo.

9. You â??trickâ? your hair only with remedies you buy from stores. To those who apply to me for advice how to stop hair loss, I tell not to forget that the best shampoos, masks and conditioners that you buy from shops are not enough to make hair healthier, especially if they have damaged hair or hair thinning problem. Because almost all these hair remedies contain chemicals thanks to which we could keep them for a long time. But true natural hair remedies can be usually kept for a week maximum. Youâ??d better use homemade shampoos and conditioners minimum 3-4 months a year if you want to prevent baldness, stop hair loss and thicken hair. You can also find such chemical free homemade shampoos at the natural shampoo section of natures brands store.

10. You eat much salt or sugar.

Everything is useful in necessary dose. Consuming much salt and sugar also causes hair loss. You should reduce them in your ration; especially restrict pickles, cakes and sweets to prevent hair loss in advance.

Homemade masks for hair loss

Mix coconut oil + mustard oil + castor oil in equal quantities. Apply on the scalp and massage gently. Leave overnight. Shampoo in the morning. Itâ??s a good natural treatment for hair loss (at least once a week). It can be also a useful remedy for baldness.

Home remedy for deep conditioning damaged hair (from perms, coloring or using a drier)

1 cup real mayonnaise (room temperature) + ½ cup olive oil + 3 egg yolks. Mix all in a bowl. Apply thoroughly on your scalp and hair. Cover with plastic cap, then with a hot towel. Keep at least 30 min and then rinse out. Do not shampoo afterwards, just rinse well. Do it when you are not going to go out.

Hair Loss Remedies – Conquering Hair Loss in Natural Way

What Causes Hair Loss?

Many people suffer from hair loss – and there are several causes for hair loss. Alopecia is the general word that is used to refer to any type of hair loss. The most common type of hair loss is male or female pattern baldness – or androgenetic Alopecia – which is caused by genetics. A number of other circumstances – from environmental to medical can also cause hair loss.

Before you begin any treatment regimen, you should consult a dermatologist to determine the cause of your hair loss. Hair loss is a common symptom for hundreds of medical conditions – and determining whether or not your hair loss is a symptom of a medical condition will determine the route you need to take – your medical condition will need to be taken care of before treatment for hair loss. Knowing the cause of the hair loss is the first step to finding a successful hair loss remedy.

Hair Loss Remedies

Once you have determined the cause of your hair loss, you will find there are a variety of hair loss remedies – some natural, some medical, and some cosmetic. Your dermatologist can help you find the right solution. Over the past few years, medical treatment of hair loss has grown tremendously – in some cases, learning what causes the hair loss enables drugs to be made that can stop the hair loss before it happens.

Drug-related hair loss remedies do not work for everyone and the success of this type of hair loss treatment depends on the reason for the hair loss. Cosmetic remedies have also become a popular way for people to combat hair loss – and is sometimes an option for people who are not successful with other types of hair loss remedies. But, cosmetic hair replacement can be quite expensive.

Many people have found natural remedies for hair loss. The premise behind natural hair loss remedies is that hair loss is a natural condition and can, in some cases, be dramatically decreased by using natural remedies. There are many types of natural hair loss remedies including exercise to increase blood flow, massaging the scalp, and herbal hair loss remedies, which involve the use of natural herbs.

Herbal Remedies For Hair Loss

There are many types of herbal remedies for hair loss – some are used to stimulate hair growth and others are used to keep the hair and the scalp healthy in order to prevent hair loss. Let’s explore some of these natural hair loss remedies.

1. Henna can be used to condition and maintain healthy hair – thus, decreasing the chances of hair loss. Henna is a traditional herb that has been used for a number of years to maintain healthy hair.

2. Aloe Vera is another traditional herb that has been used effectively in the prevention of hair loss. Native Americans, as well as people in the Caribbean and India have used Aloe Vera to maintain healthy hair and prevent hair loss. Combined with wheat germ oil and coconut milk, Aloe Vera can be made into a shampoo that cleanses and heals the scalp.

3. Jojoba Oil is an herbal remedy for hair loss that has been used successfully in people who suffer from skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, and has been used successfully in the treatment of dandruff.

4. Aromatherapists use lavender and bay essential oils to massage the scalp and stimulate hair growth.

5. Horsetail can be used to stimulate hair follicles. This herb can be used to help conquer pattern baldness by strengthening weak hair and promoting hair growth.

6. Rosemary is another herbal remedy for hair loss that can be used in oil for massaging the scalp and stimulating hair growth.

7. Saw Palmetto can be used to block the hormone DHT, which is part of the cause of hair loss. Saw Palmetto can be used in oils, added to other formulas, or taken internally in capsule form.

8. Ginseng can be used as a stimulant and helps improve circulation. Ginseng can also be used to remove toxins clogging the hair follicles, increasing the chance of healthy hair growth. Like Saw Palmetto, Ginseng can be used as oil, added to other formulas, or taken internally in capsule form.

These are just a few of the many herbal remedies for hair loss. Other herbs used to prevent hair loss or stimulate hair growth include green tea, ginkgo biloba, licorice, nettles, and sage. There are many other herbs that can be used for the prevention and treatment of hair loss in many combinations of shampoos and oils – some even used as teas to stimulate blood flow, thus stimulating the natural growth of hair. As with any treatment, be sure to check with your dermatologist to find the cause of the hair loss so that you can make an informed decision on the right hair loss remedy for you.

Primary Causes of Hair Loss

30 March;  Author: Hair Wigs

Primary Causes of Hair Loss

Hair loss is a common phenomenon. It is not limited to any particular race or culture; rather it is more of a universal problem. Mild hair loss is not that obnoxious, but excessive hair loss may require proper medical attention. There are various causes of hair loss and several factors may actually contribute to excessive hair loss. Let us explore some of them here in this article.

Heredity

Heredity factors can be a real cause of hair loss problem. The most common of all types of hair loss problems is Androgenetic alopecia, which refers to the predisposition of baldness. However, the role of heredity in hair loss is not simple. The genetic propensity along with the prevalence of androgen hormone and ageing plays the significant role in developing baldness.

Major Illness

Major illnesses such as typhoid, malaria can result in excessive hair loss. If someone undergoes through chemotherapy, it results in tremendous hair loss, and in most of the cases, it is incurable also. Apart from that, surgical intervention can be considered as one of the major causes of hair loss. A temporary condition for hair loss may be induced due to stressors experienced at the time of illness.

Hormonal Dysfunction

Dysfunctions associated with hormones may play major role in premature hair loss. Many of the important hormones are secreted from thyroid gland. Individuals having hyperactive or less active thyroid gland may experience hair loss problems. This type of hair loss problem can be solved with thyroid treatment. The imbalance occurred in sex hormones, androgens and estrogens, is believed to be one of the main causes of hair loss. Many women experience hair loss problems during pregnancy as well as prior and post delivery stages. It all occurs due to hormonal imbalance within the body system.

Medication

There are certain medicines that may promote hair loss. However, in most of the cases, this is temporary. When you stop taking particular medications promoting hair loss, the problem alleviates. Blood thinners or anticoagulants, gout medicines, chemotherapy, steroids, interferon, excessive amount of vitamin A, birth control pills and antidepressants are the medications which are considered as the causes of hair loss.

Psychological Factors

Stress is a significant factor that promotes hair loss. Studies reveal if someone is not experiencing any apparent factors that may contribute to hair loss, but is undergoing through stress, he or she may experience hair loss problems. Essentially, stress is related to two types of hair loss problems – Telogen effluvium and Alopecia areata. Apart from that, psychological dysfunction may contribute to hair loss such as trichotillomania.

Infection

Different types of fungal infections can be the causes of hair loss. Especially in children, it is quite common to see hair loss problems due to fungal infection on the scalp area. However, this type of fungal infection can be treated using antifungal medications.

Internal Health Hazards

The diseases like lupus or diabetes may cause hair loss problems. In these cases, hair loss is considered as one of the early warning signs of the diseases. So if you are loosing your hair without any apparent reason, it is always advisable that you must not neglect the situation and immediately ask for guidance from expert health practitioners.

Improper Hair Care

Last but not the least, improper hair care can contribute to major hair loss, hence it can be considered as one of the main causes of hair loss. If you tie your wet hair or pull your hair with tight hair rollers, you may experience traction alopecia, a type of hair loss. If you stop pulling your hair before it is too late and prior developing any scar on the scalp area, it has the possibility that your hair may grow back naturally. However, if you develop scar, it has a high chance that you loss your hair on the scarred area forever. Chemical treatment associated with permanents, also known as ‘perms’, may cause to severe hair loss for some people, leading to experience scarring and inflammation on the affected areas.

Hair Loss – What causes hair loss in men and women

Article by Franchis Adam

Baldness or hair loss is typically something only adults need to worry about. But in a few cases, teens lose their hair, too — and it may be a sign that something’s going on. Hair loss during adolescence can mean a person’s sick or maybe just not eating right. Who says that only adults need to worry about hair loss? At present, even teens and young adults are already being affected by hair loss. Hair loss can serve as a warning sign especially for the young ones because it may indicate malnutrition and other diseases. So if you’re losing an abnormal amount of hair every day, you ought to visit a doctor so that the root cause is identified. This article trys to answer the question “what causes hair loss?” and looks at possible ways to help tackle this common condition.

For chemotherapy patients or those that take certain medications because of their illness, hair loss may be one of its effects. Not only that, frequent hair styling can also cause hair loss. So whatever the reason is, you have to identify it right away so that the proper treatment can be determined.

Appearance matters a lot especially in today’s times. For young adults and teens, act on your hair loss problem immediately because once the problem is corrected, your hair will again grow normally. For the older adults, it may take some time before you can re-grow your hair or the worst is that your hair may never grow again.

Aside from causes of hair loss already mentioned above, there are still other known causes. One is alopecia areata and it affects about 1.7% of the entire population. It is considered as one of the autoimmune diseases and it is characterized by round small bald patches on your scalp. After some time, the condition progresses and you end up with full hair loss. This condition starts during childhood. If you’re quite lucky, you can expect your hair to grow back between six months to two years.

Trichotillomania can also cause hair loss and this is due to the constant pulling of the hair. This condition is a psychological disorder so the person should seek immediate medical attention. Oftentimes, therapy is needed until such time that the individual stops pulling his or her hair.

Poor nutrition is able to contribute to further hair loss. By eating unhealthy choices of food, your body will not get the necessary nutrients it needs to make your hair and scalp healthy. People who have bulimia and anorexia are prone to hair loss because hair growth is not sustained. You don’t have to eat plenty of foods all at once but just eat the healthy ones and in the right amounts as well.

Another is male pattern baldness. This is genetically inherited and the effects are seen more visibly among men. The condition is also called androgenetic alopecia. Several factors cause this condition like genetics, androgen, and hormones.

Can improper care of my hair cause hair loss?

Yes. If you wear pigtails or cornrows or use tight hair rollers, the pull on your hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia (say: al-oh-pee-sha). If the pulling is stopped before scarring of the scalp develops, your hair will grow back normally. However, scarring can cause permanent hair loss. Hot oil hair treatments or chemicals used in permanents (also called “perms”) may cause inflammation (swelling) of the hair follicle, which can result in scarring and hair loss.

Mechanical damage

Damage to the hair can be self inflicted either by intentional or unintentional means. Some people going through stress continuously pull at their hair until it comes out. Styling hair by bleaching, braiding and straightening can also cause damage and results in hair being lost.

Trichotillomania or hair pulling – Some children and less often adults play with their hair by pulling on it or twisting it. This can be part of a behavioral problem or a bad habit that is often done unconsciously. If the behavior is not stopped permanent hair loss can result from the constant stress on the hair. Its best to seek the help of a mental health professional to solve this problem.

As it is not always possible to assess the cause for rapid or excessive hair loss it is always worth seeking medical advice to diagnose the cause for your hair loss.

Hair Loss Care – Hair Loss Treatment and Cure

Article by Franchis Adam

According to The Washington Post, American hair loss suffers spend more than 3.5 billion dollars a year in an attempt to treat their hair loss. Unfortunately 99% of all products being marketed in the less than ethical hair loss treatment industry are completely ineffective for the majority of those who use them..

If you’re one of those individuals suffering from hair loss, check out the treatments and products featured in this article.

Many manufacturing companies are realizing the increased demands for hair loss products and so they launch different product lines in the market. The products for hair loss can be homeopathic, ayurvedic, or allopathic. The demand for hair loss treatments and products is still growing so you can expect more and more products to come in the future.

Each individual has a different hair type. By consulting a doctor, your hair type can be identified and the right hair loss treatment or product will be given to you.

If you’re not comfortable using the prescribed products like Rogaine, Dutasteride, and Propecia because of their possible side effects, you can use the herbal remedies available for hair loss treatments. Herbal hair loss treatment products are also available in commercial preparations so you can easily obtain them in the market. Some of the herbal products that you can use are Ginkgo Biloba, Saw Palmetto, Stinging Nettle, Pygeum, Green Tea, He Shou Wu, and Gotu Kola.

Pregnancy is normal among women and if you’re pregnant, you may have noticed hair loss taking place. This is part of being pregnant but you can use some hair loss products. Propecia is not advisable for pregnant women because this product can cause birth defects according to some clinical studies. So be careful in choosing your hair loss products. Try the herbal products because they don’t have many side effects and in particular Saw Palmetto is thought to work in a similar way to Propecia.

To those undergoing treatments like chemotherapy, hair loss is normal. Once you recover from your illness and chemotherapy is stopped, your hair will start to grow back. There are also other illnesses that can cause hair loss so be sure to ask you doctor about it.

Rogaine is popular among men. The drug is minoxidil which was originally used to treat hypertension. This product should be used everyday for several months. Some men also use Revivogen. This is a shampoo for hair loss that treats alopecia but there have been reports about unsatisfied customers.

Depending on your type of hair loss, treatments are available. If a medicine is causing your hair loss, your doctor may be able to prescribe a different medicine. Recognizing and treating an infection may help stop the hair loss. Correcting a hormone imbalance may prevent further hair loss.

Medicines may also help slow or prevent the development of common baldness. One medicine, minoxidil (brand name: Rogaine), is available without a prescription. It is applied to the scalp. Both men and women can use it. Another medicine, finasteride (brand name: Propecia) is available with a prescription.

Nioxin shampoo and conditioners.

If you have fine or thinning hair, you may want to consider the Nioxin family of hair products. These all-natural cleansers, conditioners, treatments and styling products are free of any drugs.

Nioxin can improve the hair’s health by cleansing the scalp’s skin, strengthening the hair follicle and energizing the cellular activity.

Nioxin has not been found to have any effect on DHT. However, by keeping the follicles healthy, these products may help delay hair loss. Because there are no side effects, the products can be used everyday.

Hair transplantation. Hair transplantation involves the relocation of plugs of skin from parts of the scalp containing active hair follicles to bald areas. A patient may need several hundred plugs — implanted 10 to 60 at a session. The transplanted hair may drop out, but new hair usually begins to grow from the transplanted follicles within several months.

Prevent Hair Loss – Hair Loss Solution

Article by Franchis Adam

Loss of hair makes everyone anxious and no one wants to be bald. So everyone is always trying various methods to prevent hair loss. Here are a few solutions to hair loss problems. These tips will help in the regeneration of hair follicles but will not cure the underlying cause of hair loss. Since baldness is hereditary, many people think that there are no methods of hair loss prevention available for them. According to geneticists, a male whose maternal grandfather was bald will more than likely carry the gene for hair loss as well.

Causes of hair loss and their remedies

The causes of hair loss may be many. Very often some internal malady may be the root cause. This needs to be ascertained. Bringing into effect the proper preventive treatments can stop hair loss even before it begins by detecting the symptoms. Diseases like lupus or diabetes are a cause for hair loss. The hair loss serves as an early indication of the disease. The hair loss gets treated alongside the treatment of the disease. There are though a series of measure listed here that may seem obvious but if followed are easy steps that can naturally slow hair loss.

1. Don’t’ pull you hair

By pulling ones hair you are placing strain on the hair follicle and may cause permanent damage which results in that particular follicle not being able to grow hair again.

2. Be careful not to rub you scalp against a towel to dry it.

The same reason as for not pulling your hair rubbing your scalp can damage a hair follicle. If possible pat away excess moisture and then leave the hair to dry naturally.

3. Don’t use wigs (unless advised to by a doctor)

The scalp needs to breathe for the hair follicles to work to their maximum effect. Using a wig suffocates the follicles and leads to damage which results in further thinning of the hair.

4. Use the correct shampoo according to your hair.

Follow the directions and use the right shampoo for your hair (i.e. for thin hair use a thin hair shampoo). Shampoos are formulated for a reason and giving your hair the most help possible is a good idea. Also never over wash your hair otherwise you deprive it of all its natural oils and it will lead to irreversible damage.

5. Don’t use permanent or colorants.

Using any chemicals on the hair can lead to damage of the scalp and hair follicles and thus leading to these follicles no longer being able to support hair growth.

6. Always wash you hair thoroughly after using shampoo

Shampoo contains soap and chemicals and needs to be washed of thoroughly after use otherwise they will also ruin your scalp.

7. DietYou should carefully watch your diet if you are concerned with hair loss. Eating unbalanced diets results in deficiencies and your hair won’t get the nutrition that it needs. You should also carefully watch your intake of both vitamin A and E as excessive amounts of both these vitamins have been linked to hair loss.

Changes in the body’s hormonal functions can also cause excessive hair loss. Some of the most drastic factors in hair loss are pregnancy or long-term emotional stress.

8. Don’t led your head get sunburn (Be careful of exposure)If you are going out in the sun be sure to use cream on your exposed scalp or use a hat so that you don’t damage your scalp and follicles.

9. Prevent hair loss – Caring for Exteriors

The diet and exercise take care of the inside of your hair (which is more important); taking care of the look of your hair thnen becomes easy. Selection of the shampoo, conditioner, sprays, gels, colours, and oils should be very relevant to your hair type rather than your mind type.

Though a bit risky, if you think you have an excellent diet and exercise, then you can even try new products without hesitation.
